Who we are

A Portuguese healthcare AI product company.

Vieira Gonçalves — Saúde e Inovação, Lda was incorporated on 27 June 2026 and is based in Braga. We develop accountable software for complex healthcare workflows.

The company combines clinical perspective, product strategy and applied engineering. SICC is the lead product; Morpheus remains in research and development.

We build for evidence, human oversight and traceability, with disciplined validation before any expansion in use.

Mission · Vision · Values

What guides every product decision.

A clear mission, a European vision and principles suited to the responsibility of clinical software.

Mission

Help healthcare professionals review complex information with greater clarity, without taking decisions away from those who hold clinical responsibility.

Vision

Make governed, evidence-linked clinical AI a dependable part of healthcare workflows across Europe.

Values

Scientific rigour. Clinical responsibility. Clarity. Privacy by design. Disciplined validation.

Goals

Prepare SICC for institutional evaluation and develop Morpheus as investigational software, with progress gated on evidence.

How we operate

A product-led company.

VGSI is a product-led healthcare technology company. We develop our own software platforms and prepare them for controlled institutional evaluation, integration and potential subscription commercialisation. Clinical experience informs product design; VGSI is not an IT consultancy or custom-development agency.

Founders

Founders with paths that complement each other.

Care experience, product strategy and engineering applied to a shared purpose.

Governance and trust

In healthcare, an answer without context is not enough.

Clinical software should show where each suggestion came from, preserve human judgement and leave a clear record of the process.

Cloud development, institutional deployment

VGSI plans to use NVIDIA-accelerated computing on AWS for model development, evaluation and optimisation. Institutional deployment may use a local or dedicated-cloud profile; the data boundary, permitted traffic and external services will be agreed with each institution.

Visible evidence

Every suggestion points back to the clinical context supporting it.

Human oversight

The professional confirms, corrects or rejects before any final decision.

Traceability

Suggestions, changes and approvals remain documented.

Controlled deployment

Models are evaluated before any expansion in use.

Technology ecosystem

Programs we take part in.

VGSI is a member of NVIDIA Inception and AWS Activate. These programs provide access to technical resources, cloud infrastructure support and startup ecosystem opportunities as we validate and scale our healthcare AI products.

  • AWS Activate member
